The First of Summer

It's officially summertime! Hoorah!! I'm so excited my adrenaline is still pumping like crazy. Well the title clearly says first which means there's more to come. oh yeah.

First stop, Sta. Cruz Island here in Zamboanga City. It is known for its pink sand and a good place just for pure relaxation and unwinding.

To go to the island you need a security escort for your own safety. Peace and order is unpredictable, we never know.

The sun is shining bright, what a perfect day for the beach.

This is what they call the pink sand, it's a mixture of white sand and crushed red corals which gives it the pink/orange shade

I was really tempted to touch that but it was loaded so... never mind. haha

Happy mode. I just love going to the beach, wind in my hair, sand in my feet, smell of fresh breeze. Ah, feels like paradise.

Caught some Starfishes! Really cool colors, what a lovely sight!

Me (don't know what I'm doing,) just enjoying the cool waters.

My Sisters doing the mandatory jump shot by the beach haha :)

While I was walking, can't help but feel so awed when i saw this it was so sweet i wished i brought my dog with me.

A genius idea to enjoy the water without too much of the sun.

Yey! that sums up my Sta Cruz Island adventure. :)

Wish i could be Forever 21

Forever 21 is finally in Davao! On the brightside I no longer have to wait for summer vacations in Manila or else where to shop at F21. But on the downside, I don't have enough savings in my pocket anymore! (We kind of know how shoppaholic I could get! ) I even visited the store thrice already! Anyways, I got so lucky to get a hold of a ticket for the private oppening last Sept.27.

Had so much fun shopping with the girls that night. Tip: If your going shopping in heels, make sure to wear the most comfortable shoes you have or else your feet will die in pain.

For this event, I opted for something simple yet classic. Because i know we would go shopping afterwards so i wore something comfortable which is most important to me, I never wear somthing that I'm not comfortable with. And thank God I always find good pair of shoes. Dont ever buy shoes that are painful to walk on even if its too beautiful because your gonna be sorry after your feet starts to feel sore.

Here is what I wore that night
Dress: Mango
Shoes: Syrup USA

At my Grandmother's birthday.

This is my super cute niece Chloe. She is so adorable, isn't she? She loves to sing and dance in front of an audience and is an ultimate princess! Which explains the tiara :)

Guess who's the special guest, yeah it's Mommy D herself showing off some dance moves. They told me she had outfit changes for four or five times. I wasn't able to take pictures more because I had to get going early due to an early class the following day.

What I wore that night. Not the typical red for a traditional birthday color because my Mom wasn't able to prepare a dress for me so I had to quickly browse the small selection of clothes in my cabinet and this was the closest to red. Haha

Volare

We were welcomed with pouring rain and bone chilling wind during our day visit to Venice! Not the welcome we expected. So we did the only thing we could. Look for a warm restaurant to hang out until the rain stopped. Lesson learned, really should have checked the weather before taking the 2 hour train ride from Florence. In luck, things came around after lunch! Hurray for that! The rain stopped and we were finally able to explore the city.

View from the gondola dock.
When I saw this. It reminded me of Angelina and Johnny Depps movie the Tourist! It was in one of the scenes they shot!
Venice is also known as the City of Masks. The different variety of masks could be seen in mostly all of the street kiosks.
I've always wanted to imitate those flocked with pigeon moment you usually see in the movies. So what the heck, I grabbed the chance i could. Had some crackers stored in my bag, yes my "baon" and tried it. :) It was just wicked! Problem was, later on I was reprimanded by some officer! Found out we're not allowed to feed the birds. :)
P.S. Lookie! There's a guy taking my photo? paparazzi alert! feeer much? haha.

Here's a few shots where I didn't look scared and stupid. haha.
If you're wondering what's that stripe thingy hanging from my bag. That's my mom's LV scarf. It really didn't compliment my ensemble so I tied it in my bag which made it looked more weird. haha.
Cardigan - Zara | White Polo - H&M | Laced Shorts - Zara | Boots - Nine West
When I saw those lace shorts from the stacks I knew I just have to buy them. My mom insisted I buy all the colors. Guess where I get my shopping manners from? haha.

Well, that's about it. 'til my next post. :) Keep your head up guys and keep smiling! :)

Red White and Blue

Watch- Dad's Old Tag-heuer | bracelet- Pandora | Shoes - Repetto | Shirt from my brother's closet | Shorts - Abercrombie and Fitch | Prada Bag

Got back from our month long trip last saturday! But since I still have a couple of days to burn before I'm back to my nerdy school life. I spent the day with what any girl loves... Shopping! I promised myself this would be my last? haha.
I'm rarely a fan of pants. But these leigh pants from Topshop are too soft and comfy to refuse! Plus, school's back on June which means back to dress codes banning us from wearing clothes exposing the shoulders and knees. What a bummer right?
My favorite Five Star Mead notebook. I study better with them. haha
My lips just love T.LeClerc ! If you're like me whose lazy to constantly put on lipstick then I'm sure you'll love this too. They're the perfect long wearing lip and cheek stain. Truth is. I've been splurging a lot on cosmetics these past couple of months and I don't even know when I'd be able to use all of them.

PS. Going to have my partial root canal tomorrow which terrifies me. Boo! :( Wish me luck!
