Volare

We were welcomed with pouring rain and bone chilling wind during our day visit to Venice! Not the welcome we expected. So we did the only thing we could. Look for a warm restaurant to hang out until the rain stopped. Lesson learned, really should have checked the weather before taking the 2 hour train ride from Florence. In luck, things came around after lunch! Hurray for that! The rain stopped and we were finally able to explore the city.

View from the gondola dock.
When I saw this. It reminded me of Angelina and Johnny Depps movie the Tourist! It was in one of the scenes they shot!
Venice is also known as the City of Masks. The different variety of masks could be seen in mostly all of the street kiosks.
I've always wanted to imitate those flocked with pigeon moment you usually see in the movies. So what the heck, I grabbed the chance i could. Had some crackers stored in my bag, yes my "baon" and tried it. :) It was just wicked! Problem was, later on I was reprimanded by some officer! Found out we're not allowed to feed the birds. :)
P.S. Lookie! There's a guy taking my photo? paparazzi alert! feeer much? haha.

Here's a few shots where I didn't look scared and stupid. haha.
If you're wondering what's that stripe thingy hanging from my bag. That's my mom's LV scarf. It really didn't compliment my ensemble so I tied it in my bag which made it looked more weird. haha.
Cardigan - Zara | White Polo - H&M | Laced Shorts - Zara | Boots - Nine West
When I saw those lace shorts from the stacks I knew I just have to buy them. My mom insisted I buy all the colors. Guess where I get my shopping manners from? haha.

Well, that's about it. 'til my next post. :) Keep your head up guys and keep smiling! :)

Red White and Blue

Watch- Dad's Old Tag-heuer | bracelet- Pandora | Shoes - Repetto | Shirt from my brother's closet | Shorts - Abercrombie and Fitch | Prada Bag

Got back from our month long trip last saturday! But since I still have a couple of days to burn before I'm back to my nerdy school life. I spent the day with what any girl loves... Shopping! I promised myself this would be my last? haha.
I'm rarely a fan of pants. But these leigh pants from Topshop are too soft and comfy to refuse! Plus, school's back on June which means back to dress codes banning us from wearing clothes exposing the shoulders and knees. What a bummer right?
My favorite Five Star Mead notebook. I study better with them. haha
My lips just love T.LeClerc ! If you're like me whose lazy to constantly put on lipstick then I'm sure you'll love this too. They're the perfect long wearing lip and cheek stain. Truth is. I've been splurging a lot on cosmetics these past couple of months and I don't even know when I'd be able to use all of them.

PS. Going to have my partial root canal tomorrow which terrifies me. Boo! :( Wish me luck!

Not So Little

For those who will be reading this, let's just say this post is a hush hush. I will be sharing to you a jaw dropping mansion located in my barangay in Zamboanga city. This is our lovely home, haha just kidding! This is owned by one of the biggest sardines brand in the country. I won't tell you which brand because I might get sued or something for sharing this to you.
That's me feeling childish and playing at the inflated playground. Haha What can I say, I always feel like a kid just like Peter Pan I still don't wanna grow old and live in Neverland.
That's the swimming pool where we we privileged to dip into later on that afternoon.
I wish we also have a mini theater room at our home so that I could just watch movies anytime I want.
Oh my! I'm so envious of how well organized their kitchen cabinet is. If only our is half as neat then I would already be glad. :)
This is one of their guest rooms and I was like, can I live here? haha
This is the master bedroom. Too bad I wasn't able to take a picture of the walk-in closet which was as huge as the bedroom. Even bigger than Carrie's closet in Sex and the City 2 or Jennifer Garner's closet in 13 going on 30. Someday, I shall have my own too. :)

So, That's it! That's the end of the tour. Ciao!

Just Outside My Window

Finally! As promised, here is my very late blog post. I'm really sorry for a month long delay because I am currently preparing myself for an education of a lifetime. Can you guess what it is? Yes, If you were thinking of becoming a doctor, it is a life-long learning. So better change your mind now before it's too late!! Haha Kidding aside, here are pictures from my Malaysia trip last April.

This is the view from my Hotel window at Genting Highlands. Isn't it so breathtaking? Waking up every morning with a view like this is priceless. We were so high up the mountain we can even touch or feel the clouds passing by on our window! (which has been my childhood dream as I remember! Who doesn't wanna try to touch the clouds when they were a kid right?)
As you can see in the background, we rode the cable car down to the city from the highlands.

Another comfy clothes for a whole day of touring the city of Kuala Lumpur. Touring a city would mean walking, shopping and walking. Ergo, Sleeveless shirt and skirt for breathy feel and my ever trusty sandals that never failed me. We have had all the obstacles you can imagine and boy these are the best! From the most rockiest roads to puddles of mud whether rain or shine it never gave up on me. But now I shall give it it's rest, I think I already overused it too much. :)

Top: Plains and Prints
Skirt: Topshop
Sandals: Charles and Keith
And here is my take on the famous landmark of KL, the Petronas Twin Towers. It is located on the heart of the city where it is bustling with tourists and locals ready for shopping. That in the middle right there is the viewing deck where you have to get in line early in the morning just to get tickets to the deck. But the best time to take a picture with the towers is between 6 to 8pm which is the time when I got this shot.

Sunday stroll

Had the perfect weather to wander the small streets of Roma and take photos of the charming sights and restaurants.♥
Just have to take a photo of these cute Pinocchio's displayed in street stands.
After having our late lunch. Went to see the Pantheon. Below is a photo of the pantheon's ceiling which allows natural light to illuminate the basilica.
If you're wondering. Photo's of me are taken by my awesome little brother Dryw.
Here's what I wore today.  Cardigan & Top - Zara | Skirt & Necklace - Bershka | Boots - Office
Will have something in store for you in my next posts. More photos about my trip. I'll end here since I still have a bundle of stuffs I need to pack. My luggage is in a lot of mess and I'm not even sure if everything would fit! haha☺

Postcards from far away

Do forgive for the lack of posts. Still taking a long pause and spending the summer holidays in Europe. It has been one of the perks my wonderful parents promised after graduation and for passing the boards. Oh! I forgot to mention. Just passed the Nursing Licensure exam last february! The rapture of pleasure that was for me. I can't rundown the hoopla and jitters after the results. Well, enough about tha. Going back, I'm currently in Rome and here's some of the photos I took here.

Rome contains a remarkable artistic heritage.
This is the monumental Spanish Steps packed with tourists.
Being the tourists that we are. With my brother Dryw doing our favorite jump shot.
Fontana di Trevi or Trevi Fountain. The figure in the center is Neptune, God of the sea.
The water at the bottom of the fountain represents the sea. Legend has it you will return to Rome if you throw a coin into the water. You should toss it over your shoulder with your back to the fountain.
Threw my coin. Lets see if it really works! :)
The Colosseum, originally known as the Flavian Amphitheatre. Located at the center of the city. Long before, it was used for performances of the gladiators and other special events.
Traveler's can enjoy a tour riding this carriage around outside the amphitheatre.

Notice my black umbrella? The weather here is so unpredictable and bipolar. Sometimes it would be intensely hot reaching up to 30 C/ then sudden rain / or just plainly strong cold wind. Hence the reason for my enesmble. Cardigan - Mango | Top - Bershka | Skirt - H&M | Shoes - Fredd Perry

Defying gravity. Got the idea from Natsumi Hayashi
Cardigan, Top, Shorts- Zara | Necklace - Pull and Bear | Eyewear, Bag- Mango | Bracelet- H&M | Shoes - Repetto

Missed talking to you guys! Hope you're enjoying the summer holidays too!
